Java is an excellent acting instructor. My daughter has taken both his online and in-person classes. His classes are high quality. He helps guide the students into their best character. He motivates, encourages, and instructs in a positive manner. I highly recommend him!

Java is gifted as an instructor and it is simply a JOY to watch him at work with his students. They love him! He makes the experience of theatre fun and inviting and breaks down the walls of fear in his students. He’s also a dynamite director with a knack for taking creative risks that involve the input from the actor. I highly recommend Java and all he brings!!

My daughter was a student of Java's through a homeschool co-op acting class. Since we were new to the area, Java allowed her (b/c she had previous performing experience) to audition for the advanced class & then helped her all year develop and grow in her abilities. Even when COVID-19 struck...Java finished out the year of acting classes through videos & ZOOM helping everyone finish well. My daughter went on to even use one of the monologues she had written & performed in his class to audition for (and win a scholarship with) the Performing Arts program @ the college she will be attending this fall. I would heartily recommend Java Moody as an acting teacher!

Mr. Java was very respectful and attentive. Lessons were clear and easy to follow. I was never bored and he was very encouraging, which goes a long way when you think you messed up.
