quite honestly the most mind-numbing experience I think I've ever lived through. I'll give you a quick run-down of my experience here:

PROS:
the few co-workers (non-management) I had in my section of the building were generally pretty approachable and helpful, the healthcare benefits the company gives its' non-contracted employees is supposedly not bad, the company itself also admittedly has a pretty admirable vision/mission, and if you're able/willing you can make (almost) a livable wage.

CONS:
if I listed all of 'em, you'd be here all night. this was EASILY the most boring thing I've ever done in my life. you're essentially getting paid to do nothing the whole time, and that's no exaggeration. you're staring at a pre-programmed drill for 7+ hours a day, only stopping to stick a measurement tool in the nails you watched earlier and the occasional drill bit replacement. the management is genuinely awful when it comes to micromanaging; not to mention, being condescending seems to be a job requirement for them. they constantly peek over your shoulders and attempt to make themselves look more important than they are when it comes to making the business function as it should. the "computer based training" program is utterly pointless for anyone beneath upper management, and don't let me forget the pre-shift stretching.
