I am from Texas and was in Northport to visit my mother-in-law. She was having trouble with a dripping toilet, and I discovered the part needed was unusual because the commode is 24-years old. She had heard good things about Alabama Mobile Home & Camper Service @5601 Skyland in Cottondale, so we went to them for help. Before going, I called and verified they do stock toilet parts, but she wanted to go browse anyway, so I didn’t ask about anything specific. On the phone, they answered immediately and were respectful. The same was true when we arrived on 03/29/23. Though they did have some parts, they weren’t what we needed. However, the employee that helped us, Jonathan, taught me a trick he had learned through experience and training- putting vaseline on the toilet flapper to add weight, restore its flexibility, and create a water-tight seal wherever it is missing. The tip made scientific sense, and worked when I implemented it later. Although only a temporary solution, it solved the problem until we could get a permanent resolution. I was impressed that they offered that free information and didn’t try to up-sell us on anything. My relative will be returning to have window screens repaired.

The only downside of this location was cleanliness. While there for only a few minutes, I observed four water bugs or cockroaches in random boxes and on the checkout counter. Still, I would recommend using this business. 4/5 stars

Purchased a water heater from them and had them send someone to install. The next day, still no hot water. Called several times to rectify this problem. Was told that was not their man and they weren't responsible. Poor service and do not stand behind what they sell. Do not recommend them.

These boys call themselves professional, yet the youngest is the only professional. Do you call yourself a professional and slam the shower around in my truck and now my back window is leaking. You told me if you bring it back I will give your money back. You have papers all over the wall and you expect someone to read all the fine print where you can rip people off. Not professional! My daughter was in the back seat when they slammed what I paid for!!! Must have been angry if you stayed "late"!
