I have had Lane Orton do several jobs, big and small. All was a great success! My family is very happy with his work and expertise. I have read his reviews and I know that if work is to be done, payment is expected! I have paid him on time and he has come back to do any unexpected repairs or changes that needed to be done! With that being said, I would highly recommend Mountain Valley Welding LLC to anybody.

When we arrived at a campground near Dolores I discovered a serious problem with the suspension on our 5th wheel. I needed a welder and found Mountain Valley Welding. I called Lane and agreed to his call charge. He showed up on time, inspected my suspension and quickly repaired our broken spring hanger on site. Although he has several weeks of work lined up he understood a travelers urgency and was able to come on site with only 90 minutes wait.

Thanks Lane for making our rig safe for our trip home.

Montezuma Valley Welding (Mountain Valley Welding) is rated a 2 because Lane does not follow through on repairs he agreed to make and was behind schedule. I would suggest if you don’t believe the work is complete, DO NOT PAY. He will give you his word that he will come back to fix the issue, then will ghost you and not answer emails/texts. He agreed to replace the railing on the stairs he put up, which were the wrong size, yet to date, 4 months later he will not respond. Additionally he was 1.5 months behind schedule and was poor at communicating his intent. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, ensure the contract is accurate and do not use verbal agreements as he will reference the written document though discussion was otherwise.

I visited his workshop expecting to simply drop off a repair job and Lane fixed me right up on the spot. Wasn't expecting this level of service, but I should have, considering his reviews. I will definitely be among the ranks of his loyal customers! In fact, after learning about his other projects, will be evaluating an additional fence project which I have been thinking about.
