I found the Blunami decoders easy to install and the documentation clear and understandable. I love being able to not only to control several locomotives at once with my iPhone using a throttle app but to program on the fly with no programming track or computer based software.

On April 21, 2023 I emailed Soundtrax with a question about which current keeper I should order for an Athearn F 7 genis engine with sound. The reply I received was to use #810140. This thing was huge. No way would it fit on top of the decoder. to make it fit I had to hang it from the bottom of the decoder and extend it all the way though the cab. I ended up painting it the same color as the cab so it wouldn't show as bad. I feel like your people gave me BAD advise in the selection of the current keeper. I have attached a picture of this install.
The current keeper its self works just find, the plug was great the install wasn't.

I recently installed the Blu4408 into my Bachmann G spectrum 2-6-0 locomotive. I've never done anything to do with electronics like this before but after watching several videos and webinars on the Sountraxx site I felt pretty confident I could complete it successfully. I was able to get several questions answered with a phone call to George who by the way was very patient with his explanations. This is an awesome decoder with a very helpful support staff. My next Blunami install is in a Bachmann G spectrum 2-8-0 "Connie".

I have purchased 3 Blunami and 3 Tsunami Decoderes. The Blunami Decoders are amazing, giving me remote control of almost every aspect of my locomotive operations, laid out in a very esy to use interface, especially for multi-train operations. Upgrading my locomotives from the Tsunami to the Blunami Decoders was very easy, taking only a few minutes for each locomotive. I have been using the Blunami Decoders on my iPad and iPhone for a few weeks and have been very impressed by how user freindly and intuitive the Blunami interface is. I highly recommend the Blunami Decoder for any locomotive it is compatible with.
