I was thrilled when my daughter landed her first job with this company right after high school. However, while she loves the company itself, the workplace environment and the behavior of some employees have been far from pleasant. She’s faced discrimination because of her sexual orientation and the color of her skin. Despite reporting these issues to management, nothing has been done. I've advised her to leave before it affects her integrity, and to avoid a situation where I have to step in.

Racism in North Alabama is very real, and if not handled professionally, things can escalate, potentially leading to harm. Everyone should be held to the same standards that the company claims to uphold, without exception. She even submitted a two-page letter to HR, yet nothing has changed. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common tactic, and many CEOs and HR executives seem unaware of what’s happening within their own company.

I tried reaching out to HR management myself but was unsuccessful in finding the right contacts. So, I’m making this issue public in the hope that someone will reach out and address these concerns. My daughter won’t be returning to this company, but I hope this can help make a difference for others facing similar discrimination. As a CEO myself, running a business since 2012, I know that allowing bigotry in the workplace is unacceptable.

Get here just to realize after driving straight here that the expedited load had an appointment time
Had to wait hours to get offloaded and since it has appointment time guess what no detention
So be advised when coming here,
Make sure you know the appointment time
Cause there is no longer such thing as expedited load here

Life is suchablast

I would like to say don’t be fooled by the pay or benefits. This company is horrible, the amount of work related injuries that occur here are insane. The upper management abuse their power, with no consequences. The injuries workers sustain here are impacting their lives forever. This company can terminate, humiliate and retaliate against you for attaining a lawyer for your case. The state of Alabama has one of the worst worker’s compensation systems, it hasn’t been updated since the 80’s, which is sickening. This basically gives companies like MTM to take total advantage of the workers and system. Let’s also acknowledge the racism that’s running rampant in the workplace. I’m surprised OSHA hasn’t investigated all the injuries that could be easily prevented and hold this company accountable. This company motto is production over safety. Being forced to work one process all day, with an injury is critical to any human being. TMR is a joke. The TL, GL, and TMR are all sitting at the same table. The corruption is real here and it is only getting worse. I give this place zero stars. It’s one of the most dangerous places to work that I have ever worked for. The experience wasn’t worth the hardship I am currently experiencing. As they say all that’s done in the dark shall come to the light one day, and No good deeds shall go unpunished. What a waste of time and energy.

Based on my experience just yesterday, they favor felons and individuals with face tattoos and missing teeth over someone in their early twenties with a clean record and IT background experience. I understand everyone needs second chances but perhaps MTM should consider hiring new HR. During the interview, the lady was actually quite rude and rushed the process. Never got a reason for not getting hired on afterwards either. From my understanding, MTM is desperate for decent workers because people leave or get fired so often. So again, they pick and choose who they want, not based on experience. Smells like DEI. I’ll gladly take my expertise and experience elsewhere. This establishment has severely dropped the ball on their standards.
