Great communication, masterful knife skills and passion for the finished product.

Fish processing can be so disappointing when it doesn't live up to expectations. CFP makes it feel easy, more yield from my catch than the other guys, everything was processed to my specifications and they (and my fish) were ready to be loaded in my truck without any waiting at the appointed time. Easy payment options.

Five-star. Fantastic customer service and fish cutting skills. Packages fish looks better than what you would receive from a fish monger. This is the biggest no brainer out there. If you bring back fish from an off-shore trip, it is a must-do.

Awesome service, after a long day on water, just sat back and let them take of everything, fish pickup, processing and delivery. Truly one stop fish processing from the slip to your front door. Ultimate convenience and quality, recommend the 5 mil bags and sushi cuts and always get the collars!

Wow, what an unbelievable experience with Corey and his team.! He met us Wednesday and Thursday at our slip as we came in. Such professionalism, he took our fish after he weighed them right in front of us back to his processing plant. He did an amazing job cutting them up and vacuum sealing them extremely professional in 5 mm bags. When it was all said and done, he packed everything on ice and met me at my nieces house 30 minutes from the marina where we put it in the freezer. Where we froze it for 48 hours before flying home back to Seattle. We brought 100 pounds of beautifully packaged. Fillets on Alaska airlines back to Seattle. !! I highly recommend Corey and his team for any of your fish processing needs.! If there was a way for me to give an eight out of five review, I would. I will absolutely be a long time Customer of California Fish processing.!! Thank you Corey for an absolute great experience, and making me feel extremely comfortable and taken care of being an out-of-state fisherman !!

They always say you can only pick two of out of the three. Fast/good/affordable. Think I found a business with all 3. Got off the boat at 9am and am already on my way home at 11:30 with a cooler full of freshly processed blue fin and mahi mahi. Packaged nicely and labeled with the cuts I specially asked for. Corey was there on time. super professional and made helpful suggestions on cuts he can do and ways to store it. Corey you have my business for good and I will recommend to anyone that ask. AMAZING PROCESSING! Fresh, vacuum sealed, perfection! Corey took care of my yellow fin tuna and blue fin tuna last year with ease. The second a fish hit the deck we ZOLEOd Corey to let him know and he was ready for us! Absolutely the best in the business! No charge for pickups unlike some of the other processors- free local delivery in San Diego- I use this processor every time we go!

Corey is a true professional. I had used 5 Star a couple of times before having the pleasure of meeting Corey and rest assured, he'll be receiving my business from here on out. After a particularly successful day of catching with Captain James of Mavrik Sportfishing, Corey met us at the dock, armed with his scale, 55 gallon buckets, and the best attitude ever, even though we were about an hour behind schedule. We discussed pickup times the following day. Once Corey learned that we were flexible, he let us know that he'd be putting our catch in an overnight slurry before processing. Music to my ears! (I process a lot of fish myself and this is absolutely the way to do it properly.) Pickup the following morning was seamless. Let's talk about the finished product though... Simply put, it was the best of the best. A+++. Light years better than 5 Star, imho. We harvested bluefin, yellowfin, dorado, and yellowtail. Every package was done to perfection and they all held up beautifully. If you have a lot of fish to be taken care of, look no further than Corey. He's top notch. (Pro-tip...get the 5mm bags. They're worth it.)
