I've been going to this bike shop for years and highly recommend them. I recently had Craig build up a new race bike with Sram Red. He did an excellent job assembling and adjusting a very complex system. I usually do my own mechanic work since I am very particular and enjoy it, but this time it was a delight to have someone else do such an excellent job. Great mechanics .... great customer service!

This establishment provides amazing service. My journey began on a ride from San Luis Obispo to Oxnard. During one my segments my Di2 battery showed it was low. I called the shop and Correy brought his own personal charging cable to the shop in Buellton store so that I could charge my bike. This was going above and beyond and I will always remember this bike shop in the most positive light. Thank you once again for helping me out.

They did a good job on my bike and the prices weren't bad. I remember I went in there a while back when they were in Solvang and had them quote me on something that i thought was too high so i went else where but i used them for the 1st time this past month and the mechanic was chill and the price was less then i had pictured it would be. i'll be coming back for sure when ever i need something else worked on.

My wife and I rented two e-bikes from Dr J and we were very pleased with the bikes and the service we received. The bikes were high quality Specialized road bikes which rode beautifully! And they came equipped with all the supplies needed in case we had a flat.

Dr Js is a great place with a friendly staff. I have a road bike and a mountain bike and the team at Dr J's has helped me out tremendously. Recently, they helped fix up my son's BMX bike and he loves it. They do it all and do it well!
I have been going to this shop for a few years now and I am never disappointed. The service is top notch and everyone who works here is knowledgeable and helpful. They also have a great selection of bikes and gear for sale at competitive prices.

Love this bike shop! Not only has it stood the test of time( been in the valley for 2 generations) it's still as friendly and accommodating as it was when I was little. Cory, the owner, is a great person. He pays attention to detail and is timely with repairs. Customer service is also five Star over all. I highly recommend this bike shop for rentals, for wine touring or to purchase. Cory has a wide variety of bikes that suit the professional as well as the casual biker.

Stopped in spur of the moment because I needed more stopping power on my road bike. Wanted to get a professional opinion on what I should do. Even though there were 50 bikes scheduled for work, they still took time to adjust my brakes to see if it would help. We ended up going with larger pads after which did the trick! Super friendly and helpful. Got me in and out very quick. Great work and affordable! Thanks so much!!

Cool Planet Store

During a bike ride in Solvang, my tire went flat, we discovered a pin hole, and the glue in our repair kit was dry. We called Dr. J’s and was told they could do the repair right away. Only thing was we were 2 miles away downhill, and would need to walk our bikes to them.

Happy to know the tire would be repaired, I hung up the phone and we prepared for the walk. A minute later a very helpful and gregarious bike tech called me back and offered to pick us up and take us to the shop.

Their service exceeded all expectations. They fixed the tire and made other minor repairs. We are very grateful to have received the ride.
