Great experience overall. The lodge is high quality and well maintained. Hunter, the guide, was knowledgeable and friendly -- if it wasn't for his pro hunter instincts I wouldn't be able to be successful on my deer hunt. Will be coming back.

The whole crew at OakStone is amazing - we are multi-time guests for a variety of hunts and we cannot say enough positive about the experience and outcomes. I took two new hunters with me this time and there were smiles everywhere. This is the quintessential California Wild Boar hunt, and they do so much more.

Great class with very knowledgeable instructors! Exceeded my expectations. Class material should note (if it doesn’t already) that pants and shoes will likely get soiled, so wear appropriate clothing. A classroom introduction explaining the various cuts with diagrams might be useful before getting into the hands-on instruction.

Couldn’t have been a better experience. The lodge is very nice, clean, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. Cool practice range, super cool old bar/saloon on the property. Food was excellent. Our guide Hunter was awesome - smart, competent, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and dialed in and a real problem solver in the field as well as a great spotter. He made the trip for us. The land we were hunting was also gorgeous and sprawling. Overall our best hunting experience and we hope to be back soon. Thank you.

What an amazing experience, once in a lifetime. My group of three showed up for the worse weather imaginable, but the Oak Stone folks took care of us. After hunting in freezing rain the first night Chad and company offered to wash and dry all of soaking clothes, amazing!. The food was amazing, scenery beautiful on days 2 and 3, and accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Hunter and Joe were great guides, patient, and worked their butts off getting us on some hogs. We were all able to get shots. I cant wait to schedule another trip.
