Spent a perfect weekend in Emerald Bay. Ted, the harbor master was very helpful in checking us in and giving guidance on the moorings. Great experience, can't wait to go back.

Hard to believe, but Harbor Teddy makes Emerald Bay even better. Answered our call immediately. Gave us great recommendations on where to moor and was right there as we moored just in case we needed help. He even gave us great advice on a new way to secure our bridal, which really helped stabilize our boat. He seemed to be everywhere all the time anytime you had a question, even when he was off duty! When our dinghy engine conked out halfway to Cherry Cove he was listening to the radio while he was off duty and called another great harbor master, Harbor Dennis, who came and saved us! Both Harbor Teddy and Harbor Dennis are super nice guys and made our experience at Catalina better than ever!

Always a really nice experience. Harbor Patrol is welcoming and ready to help when needed, despite being so busy. Love it here. Especially Teddy at Emerald Bay gives you the best tips for spear fishing spots or how to improve your mooring skills. Teddy is truly the best!

What an amazing time we had in emerald Bay last weekend. But it all started with Teddy the harbor master, as we were outside of EB in search of a mooring. I told Teddy that we were planning a wedding ceremony on bow of boat on Saturday and wanted to make sure we had a great mooring for pictures. Teddy was AMAZING. we have been going to EB for 35 years and this was the best one yet. Teddy was extremely helpful. We even invited him to dinner Saturday night on the boat post wedding but he politely declined. What a guy, love love him. I hope we can return his kindness some day. He made the special day even more memorable. Thank you Teddy.

Thank you to Teddy with the Emerald Bay Harbor patrol. He guided us in, as this was our first time mooring here and made sure we were safe and secure. Friendly and full of knowledge. The water here is giving Caribbean vibes. We loved every minute of our sailing adventure. Can't wait to return.

I have been visiting Two Harbors and Emerald Bay for over 30 years. I have interacted with many Harbor Patrol personnel and Teddy is one of the very best. He emphasizes that he isn’t “law enforcement, he is Fun Enforcement!” Teddy always is on hand to assist boaters as they pick up their mooring and secure their vessel. He is a skilled waterman and understands wind, currents, and boats and makes Emerald Bay a safe and welcoming mooring. I hope Teddy will be at Emerald Bay next season.
