Lovely garden with lots of interesting plants and trees. Easy walking trails. Getting to the memorial is up steps but to the left side there are more gradual steps. Took about an hour to walk around. We saw 2 of the Catalina Island foxes. Definitely worth the visit.

We were there in the low season on a stormy day. It is still a well maintained park. The view from the memorial is great. From talking to locals, I would definitely buy the tickets in advance. It is a great place to visit.

Lovely memorial surrounded by a botanical gardens. Many native plant species. A good collection of exotic plants. Nice cactus garden. Good place to bird watch and commune with nature.

For mobility impaired people, the garden is accessable, but the memorial is not.

This place is really neat to see, the architecture is incredible and I’d love to visit during a rainstorm to see the gargoyles working ? not crowded and not too expensive

This is a hidden gem of Catalina Island, I loved it very much. Although I did visit on a budget, this is one of those places to go explore and marvel the beauty of the island and take a beautiful hike up the mountain. It's pretty affordable, they take cash or card when.you visit. My recommendation, make sure you bring water with you if you decide to go on the hike up the mountain.

Excellent garden and a must stop. My wife and I rented a golf cart to do the scenic loop around the island and this was at the midway point. We spent about 45 minutes walking around but wished we had more time. I would recommend walking up to the botanical gardens and not using the golf cart like we did so you can spend as much time as you want to enjoy the scenery.

If you want to visit you have a few options- it’s about a 30 minute walk from the town center, we took the bus- which is $2 per person each way, you can also bike or take a golf cart here. You do have to pay an entrance free of $10 per person since it’s located inside of the botanical garden.

This memorial honors, yes- the creator of Wrigley gum- he played an instrumental role in Catalina Island’s history and helped with many improvements for the inhabitants of this island.

Fun fact: This building used as many materials from Catalina island as possible.
